SEBS has created a platform that combines insightful events and networking meetings with the goal of making employer branding an integral part of every organization's strategy, not least for building engagement, attractiveness, and profitability. Each year, employer branding specialists and leaders from across the country gather at SEBS to share insights and develop the strategic importance of the industry. The platform is driven by the vision that employer branding is a central part of the business—a force that shapes culture, leadership, and long-term success.

A partnership founded on shared conviction

Both SMW Group and SEBS share the belief that, much like the Greek word "syn-ergos" (synergy), two or more factors become stronger together. Through this partnership, we want to contribute to a more open and cohesive ecosystem where the industry develops collectively.

‍

"I am truly delighted about this collaboration. To me, partnership is about more than just logos side-by-side; it is about sharing a conviction: when we open up, share knowledge, and dare to think bigger, we lift not only the industry but the people within it. That is exactly how employer branding goes from hype to action." - Helena Rex, Founder & Organizer, SEBS & Network

‍

That is why this partnership feels natural. We believe in the power of openness, curiosity, and the courage to share. When actors who want to contribute step forward, the entire industry is strengthened.

‍

‍

Driving development forward

Knowledge exchange between industries and employers is more important than ever. Partnerships like this one not only help the industry evolve but also create workplaces where people thrive, perform, and find meaning in what they do. Together, SMW Group and SEBS want to contribute to stronger employers, sustainable competence strategies, and a better working life that benefits both organizations and society.

‍

"This partnership is about stepping into the Swedish employer branding community through SEBS26 and helping to drive development forward." - Karolina Brodén, Head of Marketing and Communications at SMW Group.

Why a strong (employer) brand is built in the breakroom

October 13, 2026

What do your potential candidates actually think of when they hear your company name? Perhaps they think of a product or service. A LinkedIn post. A fun TikTok video. Or maybe a former employee who shared what it’s really like to work for you. And this is exactly where the difference (and the interplay) between your brand and your employer brand becomes crucial.
