Health and Safety Trainer

Salary: £42,000 & benefits

TES Training Ltd are a highly established training provider who deliver quality training for a variety of railway professions.
As the sister company of TES 2000, TES Training have been delivering training since 1994, ensuring that delegates are taught to the highest possible standard in order to competently apply their training to the work environment.


The Role

Working as part of a wider training team but very much responsible for managing your own workload, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of various accredited and non-accredited Health and Safety training courses
  • Delivering all course content in line with the accrediting bodies lesson plan / syllabus / rules and any HSE guidance. This will include; Correctly marking exam papers and delivering results, processing course paperwork in a timely manner, invigilating exams and ensuring feedback forms are completed and collected in line with the course return process.
  • Continuously developing training presentations and materials
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date course knowledge
  • In addition, the role requires the individual to be capable of developing a pipeline of work and attending client meetings as required.

 

The successful candidate will have a:

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a construction environment at site management level
  • Excellent Health and Safety knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of delivering training to groups of delegates
  • Good IT skills and ability to confidently develop course materials
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to organise own workload
  • Excellent communication skills

The following qualifications are desirable, although not essential:

  • Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTLLS, an Assessor Award e.g. A1, TAQA
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English at level 2 or equivalent
  • Level 2 or Higher in Construction Qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Construction Tutor

On offer to the ideal candidate is a salary of £42,000 , a company vehicle, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, Simply health cash plan and life assurance. Working hours are full-time Monday to Friday.
